Jaguar & Land Rover Key Programming System
The Lock50 HW04-A+ Package is built for automotive locksmiths who want to start offering Jaguar and Land Rover key programming with added RFA replacement capability when the BCM is unlocked.
The HW04-A+ provides a strong JLR workflow for OBD key programming, key erase, Alarm Off on unlocked RFA vehicles, RFA replacement when the BCM is unlocked, and key generation using OEM, aftermarket, Lock50, and cloneable key options where supported.
For locked-module situations, additional service-mode or token-based workflows may be available depending on the vehicle condition and required procedure. When service mode is available, no token may be required. If the car is not in Alarm mode and the BCM is unlocked, module change as opposed to token should be available.
For locksmiths who want more than the entry A package but do not need the full C-package workflow, HW04-A+ gives you a practical middle step: strong key programming capability plus the ability to handle RFA replacement scenarios when the BCM is unlocked.

Key Compatibility
The HW04-A+ supports multiple key options depending on the vehicle, workflow, and module condition.
Supported key types include:
- OEM PEPS keys
- OEM non-PEPS keys
- New or used OEM keys where supported
- Lock50 HW14 keys
- Lock50 HW18 keys where applicable
- Aftermarket key workflows where supported
- Clonable key workflows where supported
- When UWB is disabled by software on supported vehicles, proximity and remote functions remain operational.
RFA Replacement & Token Workflow Notes
The correct workflow depends on the condition of the vehicle.
- If the RFA is unlocked, the HW04-A+ can support OBD key programming, key erase, and Alarm Off on supported vehicles.
- If the RFA needs to be replaced and the BCM is unlocked, the HW04-A+ can support RFA replacement workflows.
- If the RFA is locked, the customer may be able to place the vehicle in service mode, depending on the vehicle and situation.
- If the RFA is locked and service mode is not available, token-based key cloning may be required.
- Certain advanced locked-module workflows may be available through token use, depending on the vehicle and procedure.
- The HW04-A+ does not include the same no-key-programming-token locked-module workflow as the HW04-C package.
